One week in.

I really didnt believe I would have as much done as I do, but I blame it on the fact that Zack isnt here, and Im super bored. I started painting Wednesday night after work. I figured Id just do the dining room but once I got started and saw the transformation it was making I couldn't stop! I ended up doing the dining room and cutting in the entire living room that night. The next morning I got up bright and early and rolled the living room. It feels like it took forever but man, it was well worth it! This living room started out so dark brown that I was almost black. It was like a black hole and I was really concerned that I would end up having to do two or three coats just to cover but it actually covered in ONE coat! I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be buying this paint again. In case anyone is wondering the color is Valspar's Frappe. On the swatch this color looks more beige/greige but in real life its straight up grey. We painted a swatch on every wall before moving in so we could see the color in every light at every angle and I'm so glad we did. At first I hated it, I thought it was too dark and too blue but after a few days it really grew on me and once I finished the first wall in the dining room I was in love. This color isn't dark at all and its the perfect grey, it really us beautiful and I cant wait to see it with my decor all put out.So, without further ado here are the before and afters! 

It is so light and bright now, it feels like a completely different house! The power of paint is amazing!
